Scripts
A script is a one-shot command — deploy, seed, migrate. It runs, exits, and leaves a history. It is not a process.
Versus processes
Processes stay up (npm run dev). Scripts exit. Groups are only for processes. The Scripts tab is two columns: the list (sorted by how often you run them) and the selected run's log.
History
Last 20 runs stay on disk. Lifetime ok/fail counters survive that ring. A live run can be stopped. Honor script.cwd relative to the project root.
Where they live
Sync project info seeds scripts[] in .nocturnal/project.json from package.json and task files. Add a useful one-shot there so it is a button, not only a terminal habit.
noc script -p <projectId> -s <scriptId>
noc script-stop -p <projectId> -s <scriptId>
See Processes for long-running commands.
